Sermon, 14 September 2008 – Prayer Service

Rev. David McArthur

On World Day of Prayer, September 11, 2008, at Unity Center Walnut Creek, we will join with others in prayer around the world as we hold a continuous prayer vigil from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a World Day of Prayer Service from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.  Please join us in this powerful movement of love and energy.

If you cannot come to Unity on this day, we invite you to pray with us from home or from work as we join with thousands of others in the following affirmation:

Rejoicing in our oneness with God and one another, we celebrate healing in every aspect of our lives and in the world.

Please join us at noon for the next 11 days as we continue to offer up this heart felt affirmation.

Then, on Sunday, Sept. 21, the UN International Day of Peace, come join us for World Peace Services here at Unity Center.

Some World Day of Prayer events will be Live-Streamed from Unity Village and you can watch them online at http://www.worlddayofprayer.org/index.html
